This Privacy Policy explains how DreamWeaver Interactive (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the KathaHub mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

KathaHub does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or contact details to read stories. We collect the following limited information:

• Usage & analytics data — via Google Firebase Analytics: events such as screens viewed, stories opened, and general in-app actions, along with device type, operating system, app version, and approximate region. This is aggregated and used to improve the App.
• Crash & diagnostic data — via Google Firebase Crashlytics: crash logs and device state at the time of a crash, to help us fix problems.
• Subscription data — subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not collect or store your payment card details.
• On-device data — your favorites, reading progress, and app settings are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to us.

Translation & Read-Aloud are on-device. Story translation (Google ML Kit) and text-to-speech run entirely on your device. Story text is not sent to any translation server.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the App and its content.
• To understand which features and stories are popular.
• To diagnose crashes and improve stability.
• To manage subscription access.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services that may process limited data as described above:

• Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) — Firebase Privacy
• Google Play Billing (subscriptions) — Google Privacy Policy
• Google ML Kit (on-device translation)
• Cloudflare (secure hosting of story content)

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information with third parties except the service providers listed above, or where required by law.

5. Data Retention

Analytics and crash data are retained per Google Firebase’s standard retention settings. On-device data remains until you delete it (for example, via the App’s “Reset App Data” option or by uninstalling the App).

6. Children’s Privacy

KathaHub is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us and we will remove it.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Choices

• You can reset locally stored data from within the App or by uninstalling it.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in Google Play.
• You can limit ad/analytics identifiers via your device settings.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
